Schylling Backgammon

Conceptualized a new addition to Schylling’s line of classic board games. Under the creative direction of Chris Aja, I was tasked with creating a classic take on the Backgammon board game. Responsible for product concept, illustration, package design, product logo design, communication with the factory and communication with internal departments at Schylling during the product’s design process.

Concept

Challenged to revisit a classic board game. Sketched early concepts to present to the Product Development team.

Prototype & Sample

Designed dielines for packaging and accurate game board. Worked with factory on item specs and play pieces to produce samples and estimate costs.

Design

Designed logo, packaging, board game illustration, researched and wrote game instructions. Worked with Art Director on final approval to factory on packaging and item.

Final

Sent print-ready board and packaging files to the factory. Worked with internal teams with final specs.
